@jtr If it’s a half day of meetings where I only sit, listen, maybe provide a comment or two then sure, I may be able to do some extra work on top. But most meetings aren’t like that (otherwise why have them), so the rest of the day is mostly spent preparing for them and dealing with the aftermath.

Rule of thumb: each meeting chews up twice the time it’s scheduled for.
